{"id":756,"date":"2020-08-07T22:50:20","date_gmt":"2020-08-07T22:50:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vi.gov\/covid\/?p=756"},"modified":"2020-08-08T13:28:53","modified_gmt":"2020-08-08T13:28:53","slug":"government-house-statement-on-talks-of-renewed-covid-restrictions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vi.gov\/covid\/news-post\/government-house-statement-on-talks-of-renewed-covid-restrictions\/","title":{"rendered":"Government House Statement on Talks of Renewed COVID Restrictions"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS \u2014 Government House issued the following statement on Friday in response to information circulated about plans to renew COVID restrictions on businesses and other community activities:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cNeither Governor Albert Bryan Jr., Government House nor the administration\u2019s COVID-19 Task Force have made any official announcements concerning beach closures, added restrictions to restaurants\u2019 current operations or further restrictions on gatherings at funerals or other events in the territory.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cThe governor, along with members of the administration\u2019s COVID-19 Task Force on Thursday, met with Tourism industry stakeholders and signaled possible future actions.
