Time: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time

Accessibility:

American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided.

Community Screening Locations:

St. Thomas: UVI Innovation Center, located next to the West Police Precinct.

St. Croix: Virgin Islands Association for Independent Living (V I A I L).



Complimentary transportation is available based on need.



The event is presented by the Governor's ADA Office in partnership with the VI Disability Network Partners, including the Disability Rights Center of the Virgin Islands (DRCVI), Virgin Islands Association for Independent Living (V I A I L), Virgin Islands University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (V I U Said), Virgin Islands Deaf and Hard of Hearing Advocates (V I D H H A), and the Department of Human Services Division of Disabilities and Rehabilitation Services, with sponsorship support from the Virgin Islands State Rehabilitation Council (VI SRC Board) and the Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency (VITEMA).

As part of our 36th Anniversary ADA Virtual Ceremony, we're inviting members of our community to help tell the story of accessibility, inclusion, and opportunity in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Help Us Celebrate 36 Years of the Americans with Disabilities Act!

Share a message of encouragement or appreciation for the disability community.
There are no right or wrong answers—we simply want to hear your voice and celebrate our community together.

Submit a 30-60 second ADA Appreciation Video and your message may be featured during our live celebration on Monday, July 27, 2026.

    Video Guidelines
    - 30–60 seconds in length
    - Record in landscape (horizontal) orientation if possible
    - Speak clearly and loudly enough to be heard
    - Introduce yourself with your first name and island (optional)
