U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — Governor Albert Bryan Jr. today issued the following statement on the passing of Violette Roach Browne, sister of Lt. Governor Tregenza A. Roach, Esq.
“I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Violette Roach Browne. On behalf of the people of the Virgin Islands, I extend heartfelt condolences to Lt. Governor Roach, his mother, his brother Ian, and the entire Roach family during this difficult time.
The bond between siblings is a special one, and Violette’s love, presence, and guidance no doubt helped shape the strength, character, and compassion that the lieutenant governor has long shown in service to the people of this Territory.
As the Roach family mourns this profound loss, we pray they find comfort in one another, in treasured memories, and in the enduring love Violette leaves behind.”
