US VIRGIN ISLANDS – Governor Albert Bryan Jr. Issued the following statement on the passing of former St. Croix Senator Leroy Arnold:
“It is with great sadness that Yolanda and I share our condolences with the family, friends, and all in the Virgin Islands community who mourn the loss of Leroy “Crime” Arnold.
“A former senator in the Virgin Islands Legislature, “Crime,” was a staunch advocate for the people of St. Croix and the residents of his beloved hometown of Frederiksted. He was a dedicated public servant and a quiet giant of Virgin Islands public policy. He will be dearly missed for his sagacity and infectious personality to which many were drawn.
“Yolanda and I extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends, especially to his wife, Muriel; his children and grandchildren all in the community who mourn his passing.”
