U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS— Governor Albert Bryan Jr. extends his congratulations to President Donald Trump on his election victory, as well as to all the national and local leaders who were successful in this year’s elections.
“Elections are critical litmus tests that bring public concerns to the forefront of our national conversation. They reflect the hopes, fears, and aspirations of the people, and today we recognize those chosen to lead at this pivotal time. I congratulate President Trump and all the newly elected leaders across the country.
“We also acknowledge that what happens on the national stage profoundly impacts us here in the Virgin Islands. From economic policy to disaster recovery, the decisions made at the federal level influence our local reality. This is why collaboration between national and our local leadership is more important than ever. I am hopeful that we can work together to develop a clear strategy that addresses the unique needs of our community while advancing our shared goals as a nation.
