U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS–Given concerns about the path of Tropical Storm Karen and the increasing likelihood of the storm passing over the Territory with substantial, heavy rains, Governor Albert Bryan Jr has rescheduled his previously planned travel to Washington, D.C. Sunday to return to the Territory ahead of the storm.

As of 11 am Sunday, the National Hurricane Center has issued a tropical storm watch for the U.S. Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. Current forecasts predict the storm to approach the U.S. Virgin Islands on Tuesday.
